Correct answer is (a) Wear allowance is of main consideration in limit gauges for tapers

For explanation I would say: Wear allowance is not considered on the gauges. It is because of high cost is involved in manufacturing to that level of accuracy. If the tolerance limit of workshop and inspection gauges is same then the same gauges can be used for both the purposes.
