What is the formula to find angle of tapered hole?

(a) CosA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2)

(b) SinA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2)

(c) TanA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2)

(d) CotA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2)

This question was posed to me during an interview for a job.

My question is taken from Check the Angle of a Tapered Hole topic in chapter Miscellaneous Measurements (EM) of Engineering Metrology

Right answer is (b) SinA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2)

To explain I would say: SinA/2 = (R1-R2)/(H1+H2+R1-R2) this is the formula to find angle of tapered hole where A is the angle of tapered hole. R1 and R2 is the radius of smaller and bigger ball respectively. H1 and H2 are the heights.
