This question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

This interesting question is from Relation between Torque and Momentum topic in division System of Particles and Rotational Motion of Engineering Physics I

The correct option is (c) It lands on its feet

For explanation: When a cat falls to the ground from a height, it stretches its body along with the tail so that its moment of inertia becomes high. The value of angular speed decreases and therefore the cat is able to land on the ground gently.
