How much shift was expected in Michaelson-Morley experiment?

(d) 0.04

I had been asked this question in a job interview.

My question is based upon Michelson topic in chapter Ultrasonics & Relativity of Engineering Physics I

The correct answer is (d) 0.04

The best I can explain: Michaelson designed a special device that would have accuracy far exceeding any other device. It was called Michaelson Interferometer. Using a light of wavelength 600 nm, a fringe shift of 0.04 was expected.
