Which of the following uses electromagnetic waves?

This question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

This intriguing question originated from Dimensional Analysis in section Advanced Engineering Materials of Engineering Physics II

Correct answer is (a) Radio

The best I can explain: Electromagnetic waves are used in the radio. While radiotherapy and detecting fractures are done by x-rays and electric motor comes under the electric appliance.
