Air fuel ratio at which a petrol engine can not work is?

(a) 8:1

(b) 10:1

(c) 15:1

(d) 20:1 and less

This question was addressed to me during an interview for a job.

I need to ask this question from Fuel Air Cycle in portion Fuel Air and Actual Cycles and their Analysis of IC Engine
