Name the protein which holds two sister chromatids?

(c) Cohesin

The question was posed to me during an internship interview.

I would like to ask this question from Cell Division topic in division Cell Structure and Functions of Life Sciences

Correct choice is (c) Cohesin

Explanation: SMC (Structural Maintenance of Chromosome) protein cohesin hold together the sister chromatids at centromere while separase is ubiquitous cysteine protease which degrades cohesin during anaphase.
