What does the CH bit of the DS1307 demonstrate?

(a) clock high

(b) clock halt

(c) clear high

(d) clear halt

The question was posed to me in a job interview.

My question is from Interfacing with RTC topic in division AVR Microcontroller of Microcontroller

Correct choice is (b) clock halt

To explain: CH bit means clock halt bit. If it is set to 1, then the oscillator gets disabled and vice versa.
