(a) register, register

(b) immediate data, register

(c) register, immediate data

(d) immediate data, memory location

I have been asked this question in examination.

Question is from Do’s and Don’ts While Using Instructions in section Special Architectural Features and Related Programming of Microprocessor

Right choice is (c) register, immediate data

The best I can explain: Since destination operand should not be immediate data.
