This question was addressed to me during an online exam.

My enquiry is from Interfacing Digital to Analog Converters, Stepper Motor Interfacing and Control of High Power Devices Using 8255 in section Basic Peripherals and their Interfacing with 8086/88 of Microprocessor

Right choice is (d) all of the mentioned

To explain I would say: An operational amplifier is used as a current-to-voltage converter to convert the current output to output voltage and also provides additional driving capability to the DAC.
