For an SCR in the reverse blocking mode, (practically)

(a) leakage current does not flow

(b) leakage current flows from anode to cathode

(c) leakage current flows from cathode to anode

(d) leakage current flows from gate to anode

This question was addressed to me in exam.

This intriguing question comes from Thyristors-1 in chapter Power Electronics Devices of Power Electronics

The correct option is (c) leakage current flows from cathode to anode

For explanation I would say: In the reverse blocking mode, the gate current is zero & a reverse voltage is applied at the cathode-anode.
