This question was addressed to me by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

My question is based upon MOSFETs-2 in portion Power Electronics Devices of Power Electronics

Correct answer is (b) MOSFET has lower switching losses as compared to other devices

Explanation: MOSFET has lower switching losses due to its unipolar nature & less turn off time. All of the other statements are false.
