(b) Series = 6, Parallel = 7

This question was posed to me during an interview for a job.

My question is from Interconnecting Thyristors topic in section Power Electronics Devices of Power Electronics

Correct choice is (a) Series = 7, Parallel = 6

Explanation: DRF = 1-S.E

Therefore

0.1  =  (1-6000/1000Ns) = (1-1000/200Np)

Ns = 6.6 = 7(say)

Np = 5.5 = 6(say)
