In the below circuit, if Vs/2 = 50 V. Find, the rms AC voltage that would be ideally obtained.

(a) 50 V

(b) 100 V

(c) 0.707 x 50 V

(d) 0.707 x 100 V

Correct option is (c) 0.707 x 50 V

Easiest explanation: Peak value would be = 50 V

RMS = Peak/√2 = Peak x 0.707 V.
