What does the following block do?

(a) Add a delay to the signal in frequency domain

(b) Advance the signal in frequency domain

(c) Shifts the signal in frequency domain

(d) Gives an output as the function of the input

I have been asked this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

Enquiry is from Simulation topic in portion SIMULINK and GUIs of MATLAB

Correct choice is (d) Gives an output as the function of the input

The best I can explain: The above mathfunction takes an input and ends up giving an output according to the given input and the user-chosen function. It does not multiply the input with function so it really isn’t doing anything mentioned in the rest of the options.
