Find the value of the current (A) in the equivalent current source of the voltage source shown below.

The question was posed to me by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

My question is taken from Supernode Analysis topic in chapter Methods of Analyzing Circuits of Network Theory

Correct answer is (b) 2

Best explanation: The value of the current (A) in the equivalent current source of the voltage source the short circuit current at the terminals A and B is I=60/30=2A.
