In the circuit shown below, find the h-parameter h21.

(a) 1

(b) -1

(c) 1/2

(d) -1/2

This question was posed to me in semester exam.

I would like to ask this question from Transmission(ABCD) Parameters topic in division Two-Port Networks of Network Theory

Right choice is (d) -1/2

The best I can explain: Short circuiting b-b^‘, h21 = I2/I1 when V2=0 and -I2 = I1/2 => I2/I1 = -1/2. So h21 = -1/2.
