Which of the following cipher does not require a key for encrypting plain text?

(a) atbash cipher

(b) affine cipher

(c) playfair cipher

(d) vigenere cipher

I had been asked this question during an interview.

My question is based upon Cryptography topic in chapter Cryptography of Data Structures & Algorithms II

The correct answer is (a) atbash cipher

The best I can explain: Out of the given options only atbash cipher does not require a key for encryption. Atbash cipher is an example of a substitution cipher.
