Which of the following is not a Sulphur trioxide compound?

(a) Oleum

(b) Sulfamic acid

(c) Sulphurous acid

(d) Chloro sulfonic acid

I had been asked this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

This interesting question is from Sulfonates and Sulfates Agents in chapter Sulfonation and Sulfation of Unit Processes

Correct option is (c) Sulphurous acid

To explain I would say: The compound sulphurous acid is not a trioxide compound because it contains two oxygen compound whereas the other compounds have 3 oxygen atoms.
