I'd like to ask this question from Sutherland-Hodgeman Polygon Clipping in portion 2D Transformation and Viewing of Computer Graphics

Correct option is (a) connected

The explanation is: The Sutherland-Hodgeman algorithm is not able to produce connected areas. For connected areas, Weiler-Atherton Algorithm is used.
