What is the space around a current-carrying conductor, in which its magnetic effect can be experienced called?

I had been asked this question during an internship interview.

I need to ask this question from Magnetic Force topic in chapter Moving Charges and Magnetism of Physics – Class 12

Right answer is (c) Magnetic field

For explanation I would say: The space around a current-carrying conductor, in which its magnetic effect can be experienced is called the magnetic field. When a current is passed through a conductor, it modifies the space around the conductor and forms a magnetic field.
