What is an oscillator?

(a) An amplifier with a large gain

(b) An amplifier with negative feedback

(c) An amplifier with positive feedback

(d) An amplifier with no feedback

This question was posed to me during an interview.

My question is taken from Semiconductor Diode topic in division Semiconductor Electronics : Materials, Devices and Simple Circuits of Physics – Class 12
