This question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My doubt is from Solid State topic in portion Solid State of Chemistry – Class 12

The correct choice is (b) True

To explain: Packing efficiency can never be 100% because in packing calculations all constituent particles filling up the cubical unit cell are assumed to be spheres.
