Right choice is (a) Ether

Easiest explanation: Ethers are compounds where the hydrogen of a hydrocarbon is replaced by an alkoxy or aryloxy group. It may also be thought of as compounds formed when the hydrogen of the OH group of an alcohol is replaced by an alkyl or aryl group.
