Right choice is (b) False

The best I can explain: The ‘D’ represents the correlation of the structure to that of (+)-glyceraldehyde, in which the OH attached to the carbon adjacent to the CH2OH is on the right-hand side of the chain. Likewise, when the OH of the last asymmetric carbon in glucose lies on the left-hand side of the chain, it is known as L-glucose.
