Which among the following is odd?

(a) Urochordata

(b) Cephalochordata

(c) Vertebrata

(d) Agnatha

I had been asked this question by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

I would like to ask this question from Animal Kingdom in section Animal Kingdom of Biology – Class 11

Correct answer is (d) Agnatha

The best explanation: Urochordata, Cephalochordata and Vertebrata are sub-phyla of Chordata. These sub-phyla are classified based on the period of presence of notochord in Chordates. Whereas unlike other three options, Agnatha is a super class in Chordates.
