The best I can explain: Lobe-finned fishes were ancestors of tetrapods. Tetrapoda are classified into 4 sub-classes i.e. Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves and Mammalia. The word tetrapoda means those that have four limbs. Most of them are terrestrial.
