Which of the following cells make more than half the volume of neural tissue?

(a) Microglial cells

(b) Epithelial cells

(c) Neuroglial cells

I got this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

My question is based upon Animal Tissues-3 topic in portion Structural Organisations in Animals of Biology – Class 11

The correct option is (c) Neuroglial cells

The best I can explain: Neuroglial cells make up more than one-half the volume of neural tissue in our body. These cells protect, support and insulate the neurons. They do not conduct the impulse but they can divide and hence they have regeneration power.
