The correct choice is (b) False

The best explanation: Lipids are not strictly macromolecules. Cell membrane and other membranes are broken into pieces, and form vesicles which are not water-soluble. As they are not water soluble they don’t get dissolved in the acid soluble pool and hence get separated along with the macromolecular fraction which is also known as acid-insoluble pool.
