Who found the presence and properties of glucose in green plants?

Question is taken from Photosynthesis Basics topic in section Photosynthesis in Higher Plants of Biology – Class 11

Correct answer is (c) Julius Von Sachs

To elaborate: Julius Von Sachs found out the production of glucose in plants growth. He also found out that green parts of the plant store glucose and it is usually in the form of starch. Glucose was not stored in plants as it increases the osmotic pressure.
