Which portion of stomach opens into small intestine?

(b) Fundic portion

This question was posed to me in an internship interview.

My question comes from Digestive System topic in division Digestion and Absorption of Biology – Class 11

Correct answer is (c) Pyloric portion

Explanation: Stomach is J shaped bag like structure which temporarily stores food. It is divided into Fundus, Cardiac, Body and Pyloric regions. The pyloric region opens into the small intestine via Pyloric sphincter.
