Best explanation: 3-PGA or 3-phosphoglyceric acid is the product of carboxylation. It is a 3-carbon organic acid. RuBP or ribulose bisphosphate undergoes carboxylation to produce two molecules of 3-PGA or 3-phosphoglyceric acid.
