What is the name of the outer layer of the adrenal cortex?

The explanation is: The adrenal cortex is divided into three parts-the inner layer or the zona reticularis, the middle layer or the zona fasciculata and the outer layer or the zona glomerulosa. Zona pellucida is a covering that surrounds the ovum in females.
