Right option is (d) Herbs

Easiest explanation: The sequence of successional stages occurring on bare rocks is known as xerarch succession. The mosses are replaced by the herbaceous plants in a xerarch succession. Some examples of xeric grasses are Aristida, Solidage, Poa, etc.
