I got this question in unit test.

My question comes from EDM-Mechanism of Material Removal in chapter Thermal Processes of Advanced Machining

Correct option is (c) Work piece & Tool

For explanation I would say: Arcs are believed to occur at same spots on electrode surfaces which damage both tool and work piece.
