The question was asked during an online interview.

My question is based upon Electro Chemical Drilling in chapter Electrochemical Processes of Advanced Machining

Right choice is (c) Front and side

To elaborate: Material is removed at the frontal gaps and also dissolution takes place at the side machining gaps of the cathodic tool and work piece.
