If an aircraft is in steady level flight and weighs 2500 kg then, find lift at the given flight condition.

(a) 24.525KN

(b) 24525kg

(c) 2500 N

(d) 35000kg

The question was posed to me by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

The doubt is from Flight Mechanics in chapter Performance and Flight Mechanics of Aircraft Design

Correct option is (a) 24.525KN

To explain I would say: Given, a steady level flight and mass m = 2500kg

Lift = m*g = 2500*9.81=24525N = 24.525 KN.
