If our design has takeoff velocity of 120 knots then, at which value of stall speed we should design our aircraft?

(b) 110 knots

This question was addressed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

I need to ask this question from Flight Mechanics topic in division Performance and Flight Mechanics of Aircraft Design

Correct answer is (a) 109.08knots

To elaborate: Stall speed = 0.909*Takeoff speed = 0.909*120 = 109.08 knots.
