What are the terminal phases of the aircraft landing?

The question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My question is from Types of Take-off and Landing in section Take-off and Landing Performance of Aircraft Performance

Correct option is (c) Take-off and landing

To elaborate: The terminal phases of the aircraft are the take-off phase at the departure and landing at the destination. In the take-off phase the aircraft is transformed to safe airborne state from the stationary ground state.
