Which circuit has been represented in the associated circuit diagram?

This question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

The doubt is from Diode Gates and Rectifiers in chapter Diode Circuit of Analog Circuits

Correct option is (a) Half wave rectifier

The explanation: Both the diodes are similarly biased and are in series. Hence, they form a half wave rectifier.
