What must be the value of the selectivity factor?

(a) Equal to 1

(b) Less than 1

(c) Greater than 1

(d) Greater than 0

This question was posed to me in an online interview.

Right option is (c) Greater than 1

To explain: Selectivity factor/ Relative retention must always be greater than 1. It is also known as Relative migration rate.
