Given below is a diagram of hydrogen electrode. Identify the unmarked component.

I got this question during an interview for a job.

My doubt is from Hydrogen and Glass Electrodes topic in chapter pH Meters and Ion Analysers of Analytical Instrumentation

The correct choice is (a) Hydrogen at 1 atm

For explanation: Hydrogen at 1 atm is sent through the side tube. The electrode is placed in a solution of 1M Hcl.
