Which of the following methods cannot be used for the estimation of hydrocarbons?

(b) Chemiluminescence method

I had been asked this question in an interview for job.

Right choice is (b) Chemiluminescence method

To explain I would say: Chemiluminescence method cannot be used for the estimation of hydrocarbons. This is because hydrocarbons do not produce chemiluminescence effect.
