Which of the following is not a type of quenching?

(a) Chemical quench

(b) Interference quench

(c) Colour quenching

(d) Self-absorption

This question was addressed to me in an interview for internship.

My question comes from Liquid Scintillation Counters topic in chapter Radiochemical Techniques of Analytical Instrumentation

Right answer is (b) Interference quench

For explanation I would say: There are three types of quenching. Interference quench is not a type of quenching.
