I got this question in an online interview.

My question comes from Liquid Scintillation Counters in portion Radiochemical Techniques of Analytical Instrumentation

The correct answer is (c) Colour quenching

For explanation I would say: Scintillators emit light in the blue region of the spectrum. Due to the presence of other colours, colour quenching may occur.
