Under which of the following temperatures is the ionisation chamber maintained?

(a) 100^oC

(b) 200^oC

(c) 300^oC

(d) 400^oC

The question was posed to me in semester exam.

My enquiry is from Components of Mass Spectrometer topic in portion Mass Spectrometer of Analytical Instrumentation

Right answer is (b) 200^oC

For explanation I would say: The ionisation chamber is maintained at 200^oC. It is also maintained at low pressure.
