Right option is (b) 5

Easiest explanation: The fan is the only part that is always running when the engine runs. The fab consumes as much as 5% of the engine BP and producing more noise. In modern cars, the fan blades are made with variable pitch type, which may speed-sensitive or temperature-sensitive type.
