If the current through x ohm resistance in the circuit is 5A, find the value of x.

(a) 27 ohm

(b) 5 ohm

(c) 12 ohm

(d) 135 ohm

I have been asked this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

Correct answer is (a) 27 ohm

The explanation: R=V/I. In this circuit I=5A and V=135V. Therefore, R=135/5=27 ohm.
