Right option is (a) True

The best explanation: Intermediate annealing is basically a kind of heat treatment process in which the material is heated and gradually cooled in order to obtain strength and ductility in the material. During the process of rod drawing, work hardening occurs which causes materials to be hard and less ductile, so for maintaining its mechanical properties, the intermediate annealing is performed.
