The explanation: In the foundry, carbon monoxide gas is produced in abundant amounts by the presence of furnaces. It can also be produced during the pouring of liquid metal. Inhaling of carbon monoxide gas restricts the blood from carrying a normal supply of oxygen. This further causes headache, nausea, and other health related problems.
